Women health is pretty complicated especially during pregnancy. Any redish vaginal discharge during pregnancy could be very stressful and women should know more about normal pregnancy development.
First of all, normal regular periods can happen only after 14 days after your ovulation. Any unusual bleeding which happened before that period, could be implantation bleeding.
Implantation bleeding could happen ONLY if you had fertilization. The egg becomes fertilized with a sperm within 12 hours after ovulation - it usually happen in the outer portion of the fallopian tube. It then travels down the fallopian tube, increasing its size along the way.
Implantation bleeding can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus - the attachment of the fertilized egg to the uterine lining. So timing for implantation bleeding is on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation (in most cases on average about 9 days after your ovulation).
