But what to do if you tried during few months and you are still not pregnant? - You can take some steps to increase your chances on getting pregnant. But your first goal before you implement any method on how to get pregnant fast is to get as healthy as you can be. Then, increase your odds by following some tips on getting pregnant fast.
OVULATION
With as many as one in six couples can take a year or more to conceive and these delays in becoming pregnant can simply be a result of wrong timing. This means that sexual intercourse is not taking place around the time of ovulation - the most fertile days in a woman's menstrual cycle.
So, if you are planning a pregnancy or have taken longer than expected to conceive, you will increase your chances of success by finding the ovulation period.
If you have most common 28-days menstrual cycle, on average the ovulation can be calculated from the DAY ONE and adding 14 days. At the same time the calculation could be done by calculating 12-16 days from the next expected period. Most women ovulate anywhere between Day 11 - Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the last period – these days are most fertile days.
If you cycle is longer (30-34 days) – better calculate 14-15 days back from expected menstruation. Monitoring of the Basal Temperature can help you to identify your ovulation day easily.
Once you know your ovulation day and your fertile days, it is easy to catch ovulated egg.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Can you only conceive if you have sex on the day you ovulate?
No, that's a myth. Because sperm can live for up to a week after ejaculation, they may still be in your fallopian tube when you ovulate, and so able to fertilize an egg. Research shows that even if you have sex six days prior to ovulation you stand a good chance of conceiving. If you wait to have sex only on the day you ovulate you may miss your chance of pregnancy altogether.
When should you try to get pregnant?
You should avoid timed intercourse and instead have sex several times a week around the time of ovulation. This is thought to be the best way to have a good chance of pregnancy. So don't get hung up about having sex on the day you ovulate, and don't assume you are ovulating on the 14th day of your cycle. Just have lots of sex in that week around ovulation and make sure you keep it about having fun rather than obsessing over making a baby.

Vaginal discharge, itching and vaginal odor can be common symptoms of most vaginal infections including STDs. Evaluate your vaginal discharge – discover all causes of vaginal itching – be careful with unusual intensive vaginal odor. If you are planning pregnancy, the first thing to do is to check vaginal microbes and treat it properly before starting getting pregnant because vaginal infections can be a cause of miscarriage as well as a cause of baby development.
